Frequently asked questions
Do I have to change my whole website for this?
No. The booking system can run as a separate page on your domain and you simply link to it from your website. If you're still planning your website or want to redo it, we'll do both at once.
What if I already have a listing on a booking portal?
Feel free to keep it. To avoid double bookings, give the portal only part of your capacity and sell the rest yourself. Each room then has a single calendar and you pay commission on a smaller share of bookings.
Can I manage the system myself?
Prices, dates, extras, texts, photos and more are easy to change yourself. The admin panel works great on a phone too. We do the initial setup for you and go through it together, so you know where everything is.
How fast can we launch?
Within three days of you sending us the texts, prices and photos. We do the setup, you just review the result and approve it.
Where is customer data stored?
With you, not in someone else's system. Only the people you create accounts for have access, and you can create as many as you like. Passwords and customer data are secured.
How do customers pay?
By bank transfer, on arrival, or both - whatever suits how you work. With a transfer, the customer gets the payment details and a QR code that loads the amount and payment reference into their banking app (Czech and Slovak banks). Payments can also be switched off entirely, for example for a free event.
What happens after three years?
Nothing gets switched off. The system keeps running and stays yours, data included; only the updates stop. If you want to keep them coming, we'll agree on an extension.
What do I need to get started?
Almost nothing. Your own domain and ordinary PHP hosting (we can arrange both), plus the texts, prices and photos of your business. We take care of the setup.
Three things we do differently
We build BOOKING STUDIO for small businesses, so we leave out things most of them would never use but everyone would pay for. For three of them it's good to know in advance how we handle them. And if you happen to need one, we'll go through it together and adapt the system.
Bookings from portals
You give the portal only part of your capacity and sell the rest yourself; each room has a single calendar in your system. An automatic link to Booking or Airbnb (a channel manager) isn't included and we're not planning one; it doesn't pay off for a small business.

Guests pay by bank transfer with a QR code that loads the amount and payment reference, or on arrival. No transaction fees and no contract with a bank. There is no card payment gateway in the system; for free events, payments can be switched off entirely.
